Frederick William GOOCH, son of John GOOCH (c. 1854-c. 1923) and Eliza LONG (c. 1855-c. 1945), was born on 18 October 1888 in North Lopham, Norfolk. No complete service record has been found for Frederick. He appears on the 1918 South Lopham List of absent voters, “23962 Pte., 2nd Bn. Nfks.”, and has a medal list entry naming the same. In addition, the medal list names a second service in the Labour Corps, Ser. No. 672891. He died circa 1962. He was buried on 29 March 1962 in North Lopham - aged 73 years. years.
